Some levels take place during the daytime. Some are tougher than others and could only be beaten by using specific plants against them. Zombies are slow to learn but they will figure out how to adapt to your garden's upgrades! With each new level, there'll be new types of zombies amongst the intruders. In addition, you will receive a new plant seed at the end of each successfully completed level. However, your garden will expand after each level until it reaches the maximum size of a 9x5 grid. When you first start, your garden will only have a single line of defense. Each plant costs a certain amount of sunlight to place. You can unlock a total of 12 different plants, each with a unique function.
